Judge Accepts Guilty Plea In Pali Golf Course Slayings
Co-Defendants Given Similar Plea Deal With Timeline

HONOLULU -- Four years after two men were murdered at the Pali Golf Course, one of the killers has pleaded guilty.The sentence will be no more than 27 and a half years.Kevin "Pancho" Gonsalves was one of three gunmen who killed the victims in broad daylight in a fight over security for a gambling operation. A third victim survived.Judge Susan Mollway resisted Gonsalves guilty plea until Friday. She agreed prosecutors have justified why a sentence less than life was appropriate.Gonsalves' two co-defendants, Ethan Motta and Rodney Joseph Jr., have been offered the same plea agreement. They have a 48-hour deadline to accept it or go to trial.
