Prosecutor Says Man Sexually Assaulted Teen In Restroom

An Oahu Grand jury on Wednesday indicted a newspaper distributor accused of raping a teenage boy.

Frank C. LeFrandt Jr., 47, is a contracted distributor for the Honolulu Advertiser. He is accused of sexually assaulting the victim in a restroom early Sunday mornings.

"He enlisted a 13-year-old victim to help him distribute newspapers the suspect then subjected the child to various acts of sexual offenses," Deputy Prosecutor Vicky Kapp said.

LeFrandt is being held on $100,000 bail. He is expected to plead not guilty next week.
