HONOLULU -- A Honolulu Advertiser manager has been charged in the sexual assault of a paperboy.

Police arrested Frank Lefrandt Jr., 47, Sunday morning after the teenage boy and his father reported the rape to police.

Lefrandt is a district manager for carriers.

The boy and Lefrandt were picking up newspapers for morning delivery. The boy said he fell asleep in Lefrandt's van, but woke up as Lefrandt raped him, according to court documents.

Lefrandt does not have a criminal record.

He is being held on $100,000 bail.
