HONOLULU -- The neighbor islands reigned at the first night of the 33rd Annual Queen Lili`uokalani Keiki Hula Competition.

Leah Santiago with Maui's Halau Kekuaokala'auala'iliahi captured the title of Miss Keiki Hula 2008.

The new Master Keiki Hula is Lyons Wong from Halau Kala'akeakeuikawekiu in Kona.

The group competition continues on Friday and Saturday. KITV will broadcast the event on Aug. 1 and 2.
