7/31 - Sustainable Food Systems O'ahu Conference

Highlights Include Keynote Speaker Mark Winne

Islandwide food projects, community gardens, green roofs and more to be discussed at the Sustainable Food Systems Oahu Conference on Thursday, July 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the KEY Project Multi-Purpose Center.

Mark Winne, author and food policy advocate, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. Winne is involved in consulting, writing and speaking on issues related to community food systems, food security, urban agriculture and food and agriculture policy.

Registration is required by July 24. The registration fee of $50 includes a continental breakfast and lunch. To register, please send a check or money order payable to: LEAF Project Summer Conference, 415 South St. #3303, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
