The wife of a Lanikai millionaire on Tuesday pleaded for help from the public to find him.

Steven Thomas was last seen on June 30 in Waikiki.

Family members are very concerned because Thomas suffers from bipolar disorder.

Thomas, a software company founder, and his wife, Candis, followed their dreams and moved to paradise in November 2007 from Boulder, Colo. A week ago, Candis was on the mainland and received news that her husband had disappeared.

"I'm pretty much beside myself beyond desperate. I was desperate three days ago," Candis Thomas said.

Steven Thomas was last seen at about 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki. He was staying there with his mom and cousin. It was there Steven Thomas made an eerie comment.

"And they were all on the balcony and he said to them 'This balcony isn't high enough for what I need to do,' and that really scares me," Candis Thomas said.

Steven Thomas founded Webroot, an anti spyware software company in 1997.

Candis described him as a sweet, smart, wonderful man.

This April he was diagnosed with a bipolar disorder. His wife said bizarre behavior came out of nowhere.

"The last time I saw him on Thursday, he was having major panic attacks, he was very agitated, aggressive. He was very paranoid. He thinks everyone on the island is out to get him," Candis Thomas said.

The couple was planning to move back to Colorado in April, but Steven got arrested.

"He went out on the street naked, screaming and that's when police became involved," she said.

His wife said recent financial problems have made him extra anxious.

Fliers with Steven's picture are posted around the community. Family members have searched parks and beaches.

He is 6 foot 2 inches tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Candis Thomas said she just wants her husband back home.

"I'm trying real hard to hold it together. People are counting on me. I want to be strong for him when we find him, but this is hard," she said.

Steven Thomas has a tattoo on his lower leg of a Native American Hopi symbol for good luck.

Police said if you see him, do not approach him, and call 911.
