Waipahu Man Appears In Court On Sex Assault Charges

Police Say Man Assaulted Woman, 2 Girls

A Waipahu man charged with several counts of sexual assault has made an initial appearance in court.

Albert Ancheta Pedro Jr. was charged Saturday with several counts of sexual assault, including sex assault on a minor.

Police said there were three victims: a 33-year-old woman, and two girls, ages 10 and 5.

Pedro remains in custody unable to post $500,000 bail.

A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
