HONOLULU -- Surfers sometimes get into fights while out on the waves. A recent fight in Honolulu got extreme.

Two surfers got into a confrontation in the water while surfing Tuesday afternoon, police said. Police did not say where the men were surfing.

A 34-year-old man then got a baseball bat and swung it at the other surfer, damaging his board.

Police arrested the man on terroristic threatening and criminal property damage but later released him.
