Police Search For Men In Makiki Home Invasion

POSTED: 8:58 pm HST May 8, 2008

Honolulu police are looking for four men in their 20s who they said invaded a home in Makiki Wednesday.

A 56-year-old woman was home alone in her apartment when the men entered through an unlocked door, police said.

One man showed a dark semi-automatic pistol from his waistband and the group demanded $2,000, according to police.

The victim did not have the money so they took $400 from her roommate's wallet, his laptop computer and cellular phone before fleeing in two sport utility vehicles, police said.
