St. Louis Says Students Disciplined In Egg-Throwing Case

HONOLULU -- Saint Louis School said on Friday it has disciplined the four seniors who were arrested after a high-speed chase on Mar. 7 in an egg-throwing incident.The boys' sports utility vehicle ended up crashed into the guide-wire on a utility pole in Lanikai. The driver of the car, a 17-year-old Saint Louis student and University of Hawaii football recruit was arrested and could face charges of driving under the influence and harassment.Saint Louis School said in a statement it has decided on what it called "appropriate disciplinary actions." The school would not say what specific discipline the students face.
Earlier this week, Saint Louis' president said he did not think the students would be expelled or barred from graduation this spring. He said they could be suspended and also given community service.Former Bishop Estate trustee Gerard Jervis, who chased the boys in his car, was charged with criminal property damage. Police said he rammed the boys' vehicle with his car.
