HONOLULU -- Police arrested an Oahu woman accused of trying to choke a 3-year-old family member.Elly Rivera faces attempted murder charges.It happened at about 10:25 p.m. Sunday at Hooper Lane.
Paramedics took the unresponsive girl to Kaiser Permanente Moanalua in serious condition.The child's condition has since improved, authorities said.
