Damage Keeps Superferry Out Of Service

HONOLULU -- The Hawaii Superferry will be out of service longer than expected, company officials confirmed.The troubled vessel is in dry dock so crews can fix a cracked propeller.It was supposed to be out of commission for two weeks, but on Wednesday afternoon the company said the ship sustained additional damage to its hull while in dry dock.
Now, the Superferry will be out of service until March 24.Passengers who booked future trips will be contacted about refunds or rescheduling, officials said.
