HONOLULU -- A confrontation between a cab driver and his passenger Friday turned ugly.Police said they blocked off Keawe Street near Ala Moana Boulevard around 8:30 a.m. after a driver from The Cab taxi service and his passenger had some sort of argument. As the argument escalated, police said the cab driver hit the man with his car.
According to the 29-year-old victim, Ryan Foth, he was hit once more and was smashed on the roof of a parked car."I'm laying in the road, and I can hear the sirens. I'm bleeding everywhere. Homeboy comes around the block again trying to kill me," Foth said."It didn't look real. It looked like something out of the movies," said witness Glenn Litvinoff.Police said they recovered the taxi driver's abandoned car in Kalihi. The driver later turned himself into police.
