Honolulu Police Department teams arrested two men authorities said was involved in a shooting that left one man dead in Kaneohe.

The violence erupted just before 10 p.m. on Monday on Kaneohe Bay Drive near Namoku Street, police said.

There was an argument between the victim and three men at the victim's home between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., police said. The men took the victim in a vehicle. He escaped from the car at Kaneohe Bay Drive and Moakaka Place, according to police.

One of the men chased the victim and shot him multiple times, police said. The shooter got back in the car and the men drove off, an HPD representative said.

Paramedics treated the 30-year-old victim and took him to Queen's Medical Center, where he later died.

A witness said she heard at least 20 gunshots.

Police found the car that they said was used in the shooting abandoned in Haleiwa at about 11 p.m. in the parking lot of Jameson's By the Sea restaurant, according to authorities.

A witness said he saw several men flee the scene.

"(They) drove a little more down before Jameson's, shot right in, and we could see three guys grabbing stuff and jumping out," one man said.

Police found a handgun in the car. A bag was also found in the yard behind Jameson's with three more guns in it including a MAC 10, sources told KITV.

Police armed with assault rifles searched house to house.

Police arrested William Lee Freeman, 35, nearby. They arrested Jericho Dewon Lindsey, 26, at about 7:30 a.m. in Laniakea, according to authorities.

Officers continue to look for a third man.
