More than a month after she disappeared, police on Monday continued to search for the body of Masumi Watanabe.

Teams searched below the H-3 Freeway on the Halawa side of the tunnels. They spent hours searching there last week as well.

Police, Department of Land and Natural Resources officers and fire crews have searched along Pali Highway, Pupukea, the North Shore, Kaaawa and Kahana Bay.

Authorities are retracing routes they believe Kirk Lankford may have taken her.

Lankford has been charged with second-degree murder in the case. He remains in custody awaiting a murder trial.
