Police arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with the shooting of a taxicab driver in July.

Yu Kyu Kim, 52, was shot twice in the neck in July in the parking lot of the Pearlridge First Hawaiian Bank. He survived the attack.

Six months after the shooting, police arrested Greg Kaahanui in connection with the case.

Police said they believe Kaahanui may have shot Kim and stolen the cab after Kim picked up Keaunui in Kailua.

Police have not charged Kaahanui in the case.
