Man Accused Of Killing Pet Pig Goes To Court

HONOLULU -- A man charged with killing a pet pig is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.

Joseph Calarruda V is suspected of killing Porky, a Mililani family's pet pig.

Last month, Calarruda trapped with dogs and slaughtered the 300-pound pig with a knife on a Mililani farm.

Calarruda has a criminal history that includes kidnapping, abuse and weapons charges. He now faces trial on felony livestock theft charges.

Porky appeared in TV commercials and the hit ABC series "Lost."
