Police: Driver Died After Single-Car Crash

KAHUKU, Hawaii -- Police said a man in his 40s died Thursday after an early-morning single-car crash in Kahuku.
Authorities said the incident occurred just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Pualalea Street.
An Emergency Medical Services spokesman said it appeared a Good Samaritan pulled the man out of the burning car.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
