HONOLULU -- Two teachers from Radford High School on Thursday pleaded not guilty to soliciting a prostitute.

Math teacher Albert Hetrick, 37, and special education teacher Jacob Sur, 26, are accused of soliciting an undercover policewoman in Chinatown last month.

Sur's attorney said the two were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Another man with them in their car was responsible, attorney Greg Nishioka said.

"The guy said hey pull over hear and started joking around, and the guy didn't realize what he was doing," Nishioka said. "It's a ridiculous situation and ultimately it will come out that my guy didn't do anything wrong."

Judge Russel Nagata set a trial date for next month.

Sur's attorney said the men are concerned about their careers. Radford's principal called it a private, personal matter.

The men are both assistant coaches in the schools athletic program.
