Victim's Card Taken From Purse In Car At Beach

A woman reported her debit card stolen after returning to her car from Lanikai Beach on Oct. 7, at about 3:45 p.m. on Mokulua Drive. She spent about an hour at the beach and returned to find her car broken into and her purse missing from the trunk, police said.

Honolulu police look for the man in surveillance video seen using a stolen debit card.
At about 4 p.m. on that day, the victim's debit card was used at Safeway in Kaneohe at 46-047 Kamehameha Highway, police said. Surveillance video captured images of the man purchasing items.

  • Age: 20s
  • Hair: brown
  • Clothing: white baseball cap, white T-shirt, printed board shorts
  • Police asked that anyone with information about the case to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
