29 homes in Aiea and the Aiea Library are without water Friday after an 8-inch main broke on Moanalua Road, according to the Board of Water Supply.

The break was reported at 2:30 a.m. Friday. A water wagon is set up at 99-062 Moanalua Road.

The center westbound lane is closed while crews make repairs. The closure is expected to last into the afternoon, said a Board of Water Supply spokesman.
