HONOLULU -- Residents from all over the Big Island reported feeling a 5.0 earthquake that struck on Tuesday, U.S. Geological Survey officials sadi. The quake centered in the Hilina region of Kilauea Volcano at 12:45 p.m., the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.The U.S. Geological Survey initially said the quake measured 5.1, then changed to 5.0. The quake centered about 8 miles south of Volcano and about 27 miles south southwest of Hilo.
