HONOLULU -- Police are looking for a man who they said briefly kidnapped a security guard in Manoa.

The 25-year-old victim was making his rounds at about 3:30 a.m. when he was approached a man.

The man choked the security guard, threatened him with a knife, took his belongings and held him against his will for 20 minutes, police said.

The attacker ran off.

The victim suffered minor scrapes, police said.
