HONOLULU -- Two Honolulu Police Department officers were assaulted after a fight in Pearl City this weekend.

Nearly two dozen people were fighting when a female officer was hit in the throat, police said. Another man punched an officer in the jaw, police said.

Both officers were treated at Pali Momi Medical Center and were in good condition, according to authorities.

The two men were arrested on charges of first-degree assault against a police officer.
