Sen. Barack Obama supporters got a bit of a surprise on Wednesday night as they tried to gather support for the state Democratic Caucus.

One of the volunteer callers placed a call to a Madelyn Dunham on the call list.

When Dunham answered the volunteer began reading the support-Obama script when Mrs. Dunham said, "Honey, you don't have to convince me. Barack Obama is my grandson."

Obama lived with his grandparents Madelyn and Stanley Dunham on Beretania Street when he was growing up in Honolulu.
