Go! Airline Announces Limited $19 Fares

HONOLULU -- Hawaii's newest airline launched a new $19 one-way fare as it prepares to begin its flight schedule on Friday.Go! Airline is a subsidiary of Mesa Airlines. They have three jets that hold 50 passengers. On Wednesday the company's chief executive officer announced an introductory special one-way interisland ticket for $19."I said no one has any excuses not visit their mother-in-law. So, for $19 we hope that'll really grab people,"The $19 tickets will only be good on some flights from June 9 to July 9. The airline also announced that they hope to continue some $39 fares. The airline hopes to undercut both Hawaiian and Aloha airlines. But with rising fuel prices can they keep prices low?"So we're actually very encouraged that our costs are coming where they need to be, and that we can continue to offer low fares to folks here in Hawaii," Mesa Airlines CEO Jonathan Ornstein said.The airline begins operating with real paying passengers on Friday.Customers can purchase the tickets through the airline's Web site at IFlyGo!.com or through the phone number 1-888-IFLYGO2.
