Powerball Jackpot Tops $240 Million

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing reached an estimated $240 million.

The winning numbers were 4-9-18-51-54.

The cash payout option is worth $118 million.

The jackpot is one of the 10 largest in the lottery's history. The largest Powerball jackpot was $314 million on Christmas Day 2002.

No one managed to match all six numbers in Saturday night's drawing and that hiked the drawing to $240 million.

Powerball is played in 27 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
