The jackpot has risen to $290 million since Tuesday's drawing, which did not produce a winner.The jackpot is a record for Mega Millions. The drawing will be broadcast live from New York's Times Square Friday night at 11 p.m., Eastern Time. The Maryland Lottery director says drawings will continue to originate from the Big Apple until there's a winner.
