Hawaiian Air Chooses New Trustee
Former Trustee Stepped Down For Personal Reasons

HONOLULU -- Sources tell KITV 4 News that a former executive with United Airlines will be named as the new bankruptcy trustee for Hawaiian Airlines.
Christopher Bowers is expected to be named as the trustee Wednesday.
Hawaiian's first bankruptcy trustee, John Monahan, resigned last week due to "personal matters." He had been Hawaiian's trustee for just three weeks.
Hawaiian Airline filed for bankruptcy protection in March.
The company's chief executive officer resigned in May after being accused of financial mismanagement.
