Company Shakes Up HI Radio Teams
Wild, Hammer Head To Island 98.5

HONOLULU -- Clear Channel Radio Hawaii on Tuesday announced it is changing some of its radio personality teams and letting go some others.Rory Wild and Greg Hammer will move from mornings on Hot 93.9 to the morning slot on Island 98.5 along with Crystal Akana. Clear Channel is letting the previous hosts Lanai and Junior Kekuewa Jr. go. Wild and Hammer had been on Hot 93.9 for 19 years.Clear Channel is moving Star 101.9 afternoon host Maleko to mornings on Hot 93.9 with current morning co-host Natasha Jackson. Maleko will do double duty by keeping his Star 101.9 show.Pablo Sato moves back to Hawaii radio. Sato will host KIKI-FM's afternoon drive, while Big Koa moves to nights. Sato left the KIKI afternoon slot to start a restaurant business.Clear Channel also said it will simulcast KSSK-FM on its AM channel around the clock. With the change, longtime DJ Dick Wainwright leaves the station and KSSK-AM will drop the nationally syndicated personality John Tesh.
