Honolulu was ranked as the fourth-best U.S. city for home sellers, according to the Movoto Real Estate blog.
The blog looked at the country's 100 largest cities in terms of population and considered a variety of criteria, including home inventory and median sale price, to come up with its final ranking.
The blog says Honolulu came in fourth overall in terms of unemployment at 4.2 percent, just slightly higher than Seattle's 4 percent jobless rate.
Honolulu's media list price was seventh overall at $528,000 and residents earn a median household image of $93,539 annually.
The blog also says Honolulu has one home for sale for every 292 residents and a median days on market of 64 days.
Honolulu was the only city outside of California in the top five. Fremont, Calif. topped the list.
