Applause Performance Academy opens their AMP (Active Minds Program)from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to any student grades K-12 in need of a place to go on Furlough Fridays for $20-$30.

The program offers an opportunity of a lifetime for the child who would like to dabble in the performing arts world. Professionals teach different aspects of performance, as well as having study time available.

As an alternative, children can enter into the Scholastic/Creative Writing Program where they will brush up on basic math problems, incorporating games such as a jeopardy bowl, to make learning a fun thing. Time will be set aside for creative writing skills and as a group will share in some fun exercises that any age group can have a blast in. Study hall will be monitored for those with questions, and story time for the little ones will be intriguing. An inexpensive breakfast, lunch and snacks can be purchased on site or can be brought from home.
