Mililani Hongwanji BASS Program
The 25 year old Mililani Hongwanji BASS program has begun registering students for all-day care on furlough days in October. This State licensed program currently provides before school and after school care to about 100 children in grades K-5 from the five public elementary schools in Mililani which includes bus transportation to and from school on days that school is in session.The all-day care is open from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm for Teacher Workdays, intersessions and furlough days. Current families from the BASS Ohana are given first opportunity to sign up for these programs. Fee is $27 per day, per child. Child needs to bring a home lunch and drink. Breakfast, Morning and Afternoon snacks are provided. Breakfast is served from 5:30 am to 7:00 am.Fall Intersession from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9

o We are planning fun and enrichment activities like team building, outdoor/indoor games, arts and crafts, and a field trip to Aloun Farms (pumpkin patch)…just to name the few!
o The total cost for the 5 day program of $146.50 includes $135 ($27 per day x 5) plus $11.50 ($6.50-Aloun Farms and $5.00 for bus). No refunds if child is absent during the week.
o We are visiting Aloun Farms on Tuesday, Oct. 6. At Aloun Farms, the children learn about the different foods grown on the farm, enjoy a hayride, and pick their own pumpkin to take home. We hope that many children are able to join us on this fun, exciting tour.

Fees for the Fall Intersession and All day for Oct 12 and 13 are due Sept. 30

Fees will be adjusted for current clients.
Current families should sign up as soon as possible.
Applications from new clients are being accepted.
Payment and completed forms are due by October 16.
Program application packets are available at the BASS office during program hours 8 a.m–10 am, 1 p.m.–6 p.m. There are limited openings for all programs at all schools depending on number of bus seats available. Please call director Pua Arquero at the BASS Office at Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays afternoons from 1 p.m.–6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for more information or email Mililani Hongwanji BASS program mililanibassprogram@gmail.com.
