pause for open Raising your kids alone is tough--but when you are battling life threatening illnesses.... It is easy to give up. But not Danielle. In tonight's adopt a family meet a woman who takes the challenges head on. 2:41:53 IT IS REALLY TOUGH. IT AINT PEACHES AND CREAM. IT'S TOUGH. ITS YOU PLAY MOM AND DAD ROLE AT ONE TIME AND BY THE TIME YOU GET TO SIT DOWN AND RELAX ITS ALREADY 12-1 IN THE MRONING. Danielle is doing it all on her own. The single mother of four left an abusive relationship for a more peaceful life for her and her kids. They live in a transitional housing program in Waianae. But the past six months as brought on health problems. The ovarian cancer survivor has been in the hospital five times... Going through two operations. She was forced to quit her job. And is now surviving on welfare until she is healthy and can return to the workforce. She is thankful for a roof over their head-- but says there is no money left for Christmas. 44:02-44:16 YEP, IT TAKES CARE OFMY RENT HERE.IF THEY GOT A FIELDTRIP COMING UP THEN SPORTS COMIN GUP JUST HAVETHE BASIC NECESSITIES THEN FIRST. .... LAST IT REALLY IS TOIUGH. THEY DONT NEED THAT MUCH LIKE THEYRE HAPPY WITH WHATEVER THEY GET. Danielle has a christmas wishes for her kids: A bicycle and a STITCH stuffed animal for her 6 year old son. Monster High toys for her 5 year old daughter and Toy Story toys for 3 year old james. Mom would like a gift card to find something for herself. The family needs plastic drawers to put their clothes in... And beds. Cleaning supplies are needed as well.
