Tonight... how you can help make their holiday season a little brighter: 29:46-29;59 IT WAS JUST A GOD SEND AND BLESSING TO OUR HEART THAT WE WERE ABLE TO GET OUT OF A BAD SITUATION TO A GOOD ONE AND START AND RAISE OUR BOY HERE YOU KNOW Lauralye--Amy and Jovoni are happy to have a place to call their own--at the Ulu Ke Kukui transitional housing program in Waianae. Its more than a roof over their heads. 30:08-30:19 it's a GREAT PLACE THEY GIVE YOU EVERYTHING THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO SUCCEED TO EVERYTHING. Amy has numerous health issues--- and is on medication daily. Lauralye just had surgery on her knees. Money is extremely tight. They barely make ends meet--- but still want to celebrate Christmas with gifts for their 8 year old son Jovani--- who means all the world to them. 32:53-33:15 ITS FOR HIM YOU KNOW I JUST WANT TO HAVE A CHRISTMAS FOR HIM. HE HAS HIS OWN ROOM FINALLY AND HE'S HAPPY. I JUST WANT A GOOD CHRISTMAS FOR HIM BECAUSE ITS ALL ABOUT RAISING OUR SON RIGHT. Lauralye and Amy say they'd love for Jovoni to have lego or nascar toys to open on Christmas Day. The family needs a couch ... Queen size sheets and perhaps a mattress topper for Amy's ailing back. They'd appreciate a Holiday Meal, and toiletries. Clothing is always needed: Surfshorts size large for Lauralye. Women's size XL and Boys size 8.
