Ala Moana Center: 5-7 p.m.
Parents can take their keiki to Trick-or-Treat in a fun and safe environment at Ala Moana Center. More than 75 participating stores will offer free candy and treats on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Aloun Farms:
Aloun Farms Kapolei Pumpkin Patch 2009 open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, October 17, 18, 24, 25, and SAT. 31, 2009 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is FREE. Parking is $3. Pumpkins will be priced according to individual size. Cash only.

Bishop Museum: Treat Street 5:30-8 p.m.
Along with trick-or-treating, we will offer a dinosaur-themed costume contest, candy excavation pit, dinosaur tattoo station, and an array of other dinosaur themed crafts and activities as part of our Halloween festivities.

Club Charm: noon-4 p.m.
ClubCharm, the popular new after-school and "Furlough Friday" program for girls 7-12 years old, invites the community to a free, safe and fun Trick-or-Treat event at their campus in Moiliili on Halloween. 2051 Young Street www.ClubCharm.org

Hawaii Theatre: 7 p.m.
Spend Halloween in the cool darkness of the Hawaii Theatre for the screening of the 1925 silent film classic, Phantom of the Opera, touted as the greatest horror film of modern cinema. Maestro John McCreary adds musical score to the film, performing live on the Hawaii Theatre orchestral organ. Starring Lon Chaney and Mary Philbin and directed by Rupert Julian, Phantom tells of a mad, disfigured composer who seeks love with a lovely young opera singer.

Haunted Hawaii Ghost Stories Oct. 21, 22, 28 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Hallowbaloo 2009: 5-10:30 p.m.
Free Street Festival - Seven city blocks on and around Nu'uanu Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 5pm. Ghosts, ghouls and goblins of every size, shape and color will then take control and fill all the curious nooks and crannies of the Arts District with Halloween cheer. Costume Contest - 8:30 p.m.

Kaiser High School's Halloween Haunted House and Craft Fair:
Craft Fair hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Halloween.
Haunted House hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Halloween.
Both events are at Kaiser High School in Hawaii Kai. There will be games for the keiki and a costume contest at 4:30 p.m. Best costume wins $100.

SHOCKHOUSE VI, the most intense HAUNTED HOUSE in Hawaii, returns this October for two weeks only at the Blaisdell Mansion starting Friday, Oct. 23rd at 6pm. The entrance is located next to the Blaisdell Galleria on Ward Avenue.

Oahu SPCA: 'HOWL-O-WEEN' OF A TIME 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the O‘ahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (O‘ahu SPCA) Howl-O-Ween open house and adoption day event at their Kalaeloa facility. The public will have a chance to tour the facility, vote for their favorite shelter dog in the spooktaculor costume contest, and find out more information about adopting, fostering, volunteering, or becoming a member. Each visiting family will be given a dog or cat goody bag sponsored by Petco.

Perspective adopters are required to bring a carrier for transport if adopting a cat or kitten and an in-depth meet and greet will be scheduled the following day or at the perspective adopter’s convenience for those interested in adopting a dog or puppy. The public is kindly asked to not bring their animals to this event.

Pearlridge Center:
Trick-or-Treat fun throughout the two phases. Uptown Center Court will also feature spook-tacular entertainment: Auntie Lisa paints faces with creepy and not-so-creepy designs from 2-4 p.m., while Allen Tsukamoto creates interactive art doodles. Trick or treating will be done from 5-7 p.m. for children in costumes. Chris da Clown will lead storytelling from 7-8 p.m.

Polynesian Cultural Center:

Red Hill Elementary School: Fall Fair Oct. 29, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Games and food include a haunted house, Halloween costume contest and Trunk O Treat (where parents/staff will be decorating their car trunks and children go trunk o treating from car to car to get candy/goodies) throughout the night. We are even having a "Monster Mash Dance" Shirokya Ala Moana: Kikaida Halloween Bash 3:30-5 p.m.
Generation Kikaida and Shirokiya will celebrate two milestone anniversaries, Kikaida's 35th and Shirokiya's 50th in Hawaii with a Halloween Bash starring the Kikaida Brothers, Ban Daisuke and an all-star cast of Japanese Superheroes, including Hawaii's favorite baddie Professor Gill. Kids of all ages are encouraged to join in the Halloween Bash costume parade, dressed in their favorite costume.

Waikele Premium Outlets: 5-8 p.m.
Keiki dressed in a costume will receive treats at the Information Center (while supplies last). Keiki can also take home a souvenir picture by Perfect Portraits and trick-or-treat around the center at participating stores.

Ward Centers: 6-8 p.m.
Bring your costumed keiki to Ward Centers annual Trick-or-Treat Street. Stroll from center to center and collect treats along the way at participating stores and restaurants. Look for the black bats hanging over their doorways.

Windward Community College: Oct. 30, 6-8:30 p.m.
Take a virtual tour of a haunted graveyard, where you’ll walk at the speed of fright! This 15-minute show features the 3D, animated magic of the Imaginarium. Audiences will be guided on a nightwalk down a creepy crypt and into a haunted mansion filled with bats, ghosts and spooky things that go boo in the night.

Windward Mall: 5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.
Hawai‘i keiki are invited to a night of trick-or-treating fun at Windward Mall! Windward Mall will offer Halloween Magic by Kaulana and entertainment by 24VII Danceforce from 4 p.m.–4:30 p.m. to get shoppers ready for a night of haunting fun. The mall will also be offering families and keiki the opportunity to take part in the popular Safe Trick-or-Treat, from 5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.
