The Girl Scouts of Hawaii on Wednesday issued a recall on its Lemon Chalet Crème cookies.

The organization issued the recall after receiving complaints about discolored crème, GSH Communications Director Tammy Yamanoha said.

The recall is not related to an earlier recall issued for Girl Scouts cookies on the mainland, the group said.

"We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused to our customers. We appreciate the community’s understanding and ask for their continued support of Hawaii's girls as they work through this valuable lesson in leadership and entrepreneurship," Yamanoha said.

You can contact Little Brownie Baker at littlebrowniebakers.com or 800-962-1718 for reimbursement, GSH officials said.
