Water Officials Say Test Results Show No Harmful Bacteria

HONOLULU -- Kauai County's Department of Water on Tuesday canceled its "boil water" notice for Hanalei residents.
Lab results showed there were no harmful bacteria in samples tested, officials said.
County officials want Hanalei residents to spread the area that they can stop boiling water before using it.

The area suffered water service disruption after heavy rains caused flooding in the region over the weekend.
