Hawaii Receiving $8.5M In Federal Health Grants

Money Designed To Help Facilities With Construction, Repair, Improvements

Sens. Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka announced Monday that Hawaii health facilities will receive $8.55 million in federal health grants.

The money from the stimulus funds is designed for "construction, repair and renovation of health center sites and fund the purchase of new equipment or health information technology systems."
