Online flu pandemic games are spreading virally across the Internet.

With so much concern about the swine flu, a number of games with a "pandemic theme" are now available on the net.

One of the sillier games allows you to shoot down flying pigs with a hypodermic needle. Another game called Pandemic Two lets you design and unleash your own virus or bacteria. The goal is to infect the entire planet.

Another game is hosted by the state Department of Health. The goal of that one is to prevent a pandemic.

"Part of the aim of this project is to send an advance guide of good reliable information to people around Hawaii and around the world so they can behave more safely and protect themselves and their families," game designer Stuart Candy said.
