Hawaii health officials found 33 new swine flu, or H1N1 Influenza A, cases on Oahu.

The latest findings raise the total number of cases in Hawaii to 115.

The spike in cases happened because Department of Health officials stopped reporting daily numbers. The cases were found over a week's time.

State health officials on Tuesday issued new guidelines for testing individuals at higher risk of contracting H1N1. They said they want to focus on "potentially severe cases and focal outbreaks in our community rather than individual cases."

Health officials continue to ask the public to stay home if they have a fever of more than 100 degrees or more and a cough or sore throat.
