Health Officials Identify 13 More H1N1 Cases
Latest Confirmations Include 8 Children On Oahu

HONOLULU -- Hawaii health officials announced on Wednesday that they confirmed 13 new cases of the swine flu, or H1N1 Influenza A, on Oahu.The cases include an infant, seven children of school age and five adults, officials said.The infant had contact with one person who had the flu. Three of the other children and two of the adults did not have contact with any confirmed patients, officials said.The Department of Health said it is investigating some of the cases confirmed on Wednesday.The following public schools join those with flu cases: Kalani High School, Kipapa Elementary School, Nanakuli Elementary School and Niu Valley Middle School.Officials urged people who are sick to stay home.
