The Hawaii Department of Health on Tuesday reported four new cases of the swine flu, or the H1N1 Influenza A.

This brings the total number of cases in the state to 30.

One of the new cases is at Anuenue School in Palolo. That brings the total of students and teachers who have contracted the illness at the school to 10.

Two of the four new cases are preschool children and one of them lived in a household that had a previous reported case of the virus.

Tuesday fourth case is an adult with no connection to any previous confirmed case.

State health officials said that all of Tuesday's new cases are on Oahu and all the patients are recovering at home.

None of the four new patients traveled out of state recently.

On Monday, the state reported five new patients. All were tied to Anuenue School in Palolo. Four of the patients are students and one was a parent, officials said. Four of the patients are related, officials said.

Officials have said that they do not recommend closing the school.
