The next six players -- Sergio Garcia, Steve Stricker, Justin Rose, Vijay Singh, K.J. Choi and Jim Furyk -- remained seventh through 12th.

Defending British Open champ Padraig Harrington slipped one to 14th, making room at 13th for Anthony Kim. Trevor Immelman held steady at 15.

Perry jumped four to 16th, knocking Henrik Stenson, Rory Sabbatini and Lee Westwood down one spot apiece. Miguel Angel Jimenez climbed one to 20th this week, while Luke Donald dropped two places to No. 21.
