Vegetarian Dim Sum

Dim Sum
"Gimme Lean" is vegetarian sausage found in the fridge section at down to earth packaged in sort of a tube.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 package Gimme Lean sausage style
  • 1/2 cup shredded Chinese cabbage
  • 2 TBS finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 TBS Ener-G Egg Replacer (mixed with 2 TBS water)
  • 2 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • wonton wrappers
  • Instructions:
    1. Mix all the filling ingredients (everything except wonton wrappers) in a mixing bowl.
    2. Place a spoonful of filling on a wrapper, fold it up into a crinkled pattern. Keep filling wrappers until all the filling is used. (Makes about a dozen.) Place them in a Chinese steamer, put the steamer in a large pot with boiling water. Cover and steam for about 12 minutes.
    3. These can also be fried as pot stickers.
    4. Serve these with sauce made of Chinese mustard and soy sauce.
