Black Bean Patties

From the book "Maui Vegetarian- Cooking with Aloha" available at Down To Earth.Ingredients: 1 can black beans or 8 ounces dry black beans, cooked 1 TBS chopped garlic 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped fine 1 TBS cumin 1/2 onion, chopped fine 2 TBS cilantro, chopped 1 TBS green onion, minced 1/4 cup bread crumbs 1 TBS chili powder flour Ingredients:
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor (or mash with a potato masher or fork) until it binds. Add a little flour at a time, if necessary.
- Form into patties and use a bit more flour to coat the patties.
- Brown in olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
