Macadamia Nut Basil Pesto

This is very easy to make. It takes only several minutes, about this time it takes the pasta to cook.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (packed) fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup Macadamia nuts
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 7 ounce can mild green chilies (make sure you use mild, not jalepeno.)
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Instructions:

    Blend in a food processor until it becomes pesto.

    I served this over Barilla thin spaghetti, garnished with diced fresh tomatoes
