Fiery Sweet And Sour Dressing

This is a fabulous salad dressing. You can make this as hot as you want. Careful with that chili paste. This is a really great tasting dressing, but it is not low fat because of all that oil.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 TBS chili paste (or less to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (canola or safflour)
  • Instructions: In a saucepan, heat vinegar and sugar until it boils. Turn off the heat. In a blender, blend mustard, 1 tsp of the chili paste. Add sugar and vinegar mix. Add salt. While the blender is working, drizzle in the oil and add the rest of the chili (to taste.)
