Veggie Pizza

Sorry this one did not get posted the week it was on TV. We had email problems- our server was down. But here it is.

Crust ingredients:
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Instructions:
  • I put this in my bread machine and let the machine knead it, then pull it out before it starts cooking and let it rise for a half hour. Roll into pizza crust on a floured surface. (This makes 2 medium crusts.) If you do not have a bread machine you will have to knead the dough by hand for about 10 minutes, until it is soft and elastic.
  • Spray a large non stick pan or pizza pan with some vegetable spray and place the dough on the pan. Spoon on some of your favorite store bought low fat spaghetti sauce.
  • Toppings:
  • Slices of Yves veggie pepperoni
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced zucchini
  • Artichoke hearts, cut into quarters
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Black and green olives
  • Top with grated soy cheese
  • Instructions:
  • Bake in the oven at 450 for about 20 minutes, until crust is browned and crisp.
