Police Return $3,000 Prized Pit

FORT WORTH, Texas -- After a citywide search, a Plano, Texas, man has been reunited with his beloved barbecue smoker.
Bryce Hancock called Plano police after someone made off with his $3,000 Dale Earnhardt smoker.
After circulating pictures of his prized pit, Hancock began receiving calls from strangers who claimed to have seen the smoker.
"About that time, Plano police called and said, 'Hey, we've got your barbecue pit,'" Hancock said.
Despite the find, Plano police said they are not certain who stole the racecar-shaped pit.
